is Manga Arts?
Manga Arts is a fresh, new Australian business founded in mid 2005.
We are a wholesale/retail art supplier with a focus upon the needs of the Comic/Manga art community, sourcing and distributing tools and materials specific to this art form, but long neglected by 'Mainstream' art suppliers.
Manga, in particular, often relies upon materials that are either difficult to obtain or completely unavailable in Australia.
This forces artists to either the expensive option of purchasing from overseas or having to resort to, often, less than satisfactory improvisations (very discouraging to beginners).
By offering Comic/Manga specific drawing materials and related products we hope to promote this fast growing art form/entertainment and its related fields (ie: game character design, etc) in this country.
